In 1989 New Balance presented the 1500 to the world, launched at the time as the flagship model of the late 80s running line. An avant-garde model for those years, extremely innovative and capable of "breaking through" the $150 threshold.
Exactly 30 years after its launch, New Balance offers a celebratory remake of the iconic 1500 from 1989 together with an innovative 1530.
A limited edition Capsule Collection in which heritage and tradition blend perfectly with the Boston company's ongoing commitment to innovation.
The brand new 1500 OGN takes up the silhouette of the original, directly from the Japanese New Balance archive, combining the original "Vintage Blue Navy" color with the premium vintage nubuck upper.
The innovation instead is represented by the new 1530 OGG , a modern version of the 1500, where the number 30 represents the years away from the original.
The inspiration for the 1530 also comes from other classics such as the 991 and 576, such as the use of the REVLITE midsole and the navy blue, white and green colors present in the 1500.
The result of this capsule collection is devastating, don't miss them.
